Hi & Welcome to 5 Arrows Farm!  

We are Jonathan & Bethany Benke and have 5 amazing boys; Judah, Joshua, Josiah, Jeremiah, & Jonah. Our dream to have our little farm started with a desire to give our boys the opportunity to learn how to work hard, know where our food comes from, cultivate creativity, and enjoy God's amazing creation by our beautiful surroundings and all the critters we raise here.

We are located 15 min East of Innisfail Alberta where we raise Registered Mini Australian Shepherds! Our Aussies are all from amazing breeders with great bloodlines and their temperaments and eagerness to please are just one result of good breeding! We also keep chickens, bunnies and sheep that our boys help care for the every day and we are thankful they have the opportunity to learn about good animal husbandry.

In my spare time, I (Bethany) also enjoy the art of making hand-made Goats Milk soap. This journey started when my youngest son developed eczema and I thought I might as well try making some soap for him to see if it would help...and it did!! The natural progression from making soap to add to my product line was beautiful candles with a country-feel to them. I hand-pour all of my candles and use fragrances that are 100% paraben and phthalate free. All of my candles are made with soy wax and have a beautiful wood wick, they have been a hit at the local stores and markets that I sell to!
